Having had a close working relationship for over 18 years, Port Medical Management is excited to welcome Dr. John D. Kirkwood, DO, to its team. Dr. John grew up in Pasadena, TX, attended The University of Houston, and went on to attend Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine.

In support of the company’s expanded services addressing the mental health and wellness of seafarers, Port Medical CEO Dean Crassas engaged Pam Kern, a U.S. licensed clinical psychotherapist and maritime mental health expert as Port Medical's Director of Maritime Mental Health Services.

A licensed adjuster and an eleven-year veteran of the maritime world, native Houstonian Courtney Nolan recently joined the Port Medical Management team with a background in Jones Act cases.
Dave Kemp

Prior to joining PMM, Dave completed undergraduate and post graduate degrees at the University of Texas at Austin, enjoyed three extended stints with leading shipping agencies and transportation companies, and learned the ropes of maritime operations and logistics.

Calling on her twenty-plus years as a Medical Auditing Specialist in the maritime industry and her work in both receivables and payables, Ms. Johnson’s responsibilitie include tracking, invoicing, extensive negotiations with medical providers, researching, and other essential reporting elements.
